Vero Beach would not be the same without its iconic beaches. All 26 miles of Indian River County's coastline are open to the public. Across Vero Beach there 10 public beach access points all of which provide free parking. Three of which provide city lifeguard protection. Our beaches are also world famous for the thousands of Sea Turtle nests which are built each year in the sand dunes. Vero Beach also is home to The Jaycee Park Boardwalk pictured above which spans 1/2 mile along Jaycee Park and provides beach access at numerous points.

As Vero Beach's flagship city park Riverside park is a crowd favorite. It's sunsets are not to be missed by any Vero Beach resident. The park is home to the Riverside Theatre, Vero Beach Museum of Art, Veterans Memorial Island, tennis and racquetball facilities, fishing pier, boat launches, and a fitness trail. The park truly has it all and is a must see destination.

Located on 5 acres of land directly on the intercoastal waterway adjacent to The Vero Beach Marina. This free to the public privately supported dog park is a very unique part of Vero Beach. The off-leash park which was recently voted The Treasure Coast's best dog park, offers large and small dog sections, water refill stations, and shaded seating areas for owners.

Vero Beach is home to some of the best golf in Florida. With over 17 golf clubs and 40 courses Vero Beach has and continues to leave its mark on the golf community. Quail Valley golf club which was recently featured on Barstool Sports #1 trending Fore-Play Podcast is the choice course in town of Country Music Superstar and Vero Beach native Jake Owen. Bent Pine Golf Club, Pictured above has hosted six U.S. Open qualifiers. Sandridge Golf Club is a county owned course which welcomes golfers of all skill sets to enjoy the florida sun and is home to many childrens events and clinics.

Vero Beach is also home to numerous Tennis clubs and facilities. Vero Beach is unique in that it offers so many free to the public courts such as The Riverside Tennis Complex. The complex is comprised of eight courts, two indoor squash courts, a pro shop, and an outdoor handball court and features numerous seasonal leagues open to all. If you are interested in joining a private club Vero Beach has plenty of options. The Boulevard Tennis Club is a private club which offers members access to 13 Har-Tru courts as well as full service pro shop, locker rooms, fitness center and restaurant.

This county owned, free to the public park provides residents with access to the Indian River Lagoon and to the Atlantic Ocean. The Indian River Lagoon side of the park is frequented by nature enthusiasts who love spotting the very common West Indian Manatees who flock to the park as it is sheltered from the remainder of the lagoon. You will see many Kayakers and boaters at the park and it is a great place to bird watch or go for a family hike as it has many miles of nature trails as well as an observation tower.

Located in the heart of downtown Vero Beach, Pocahontas Park is a staple of many young families in Vero Beach. With its horse monument and large playgorund children love playing at the park. The park also provides plenty of shade and benches for parents to enjoy. In addition to the playground the park is also home to pickleball, tennis, and shuffleboard courts.
